DETROIT, MICHIGAN David Alade (XXI/Dalton ’05, Columbia ’09) is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Century Partners, an innovative housing development company where community members invest in the revitalization of their own neighborhoods.
NEW YORK, NEW YORK Samona Joe Tait (II/Horace Mann ’86, Penn ’90) MEd, Penn ’91; MS/EdD, Harvard ’00 is Founding Principal of Inwood Early College for Health and Information Technologies. The high school integrates academic rigor and workforce preparation, and its students can graduate with a technology-related Associate’s Degree.
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA Eleazar Vega-Gonzalez (P9 XVII/Andover ’08, Carnegie Mellon ’12) is Co-Founder of Reduced Energy Microsystems, a fabless semiconductor startup that uses asynchronous design to build more power-efficient computer processors. The company was part of the prestigious startup incubator program Y Combinator.
CAMBRIDGE, MASSACHUSETTS Milton Syed (P9 XXIII/Exeter ’14, Harvard) is currently a junior in college and Co-Founder of UpSolve, a tech platform that automates bankruptcy filing for low-income individuals. It won first place at Harvard’s i3 Innovation Challenge in the social sector division and is on track to clear $1 million of debt for its clients.
