Prep for Prep Admissions

150 students will be admitted in June 2008. Children of African-American, Latino or Asian backgrounds who are in the 5^th or 6^th grade and who meet the following eligibility criteria may apply.  The eligibility criteria are as follows:

5^th Graders

A 5^th grader must have a scaled score of 685 or above on the English Language Arts (ELA) test administered during the 2006-2007 (4^th grade) school year or have scored at the 90^th percentile on any Reading standardized test administered in the 2006-2007 school year.

6^th Graders

A 6^th grader must have a scaled score of 705 (90^th percentile) or above on the Reading CTB exam administered during the 2006-2007 (5^th grade) school year AND not have tested as a fifth grader for the Prep for Prep program.

Please be prepared to provide us with a copy of your child’s 2006-2007 Reading scores.
