Prep for Prep is closely monitoring COVID-19 developments and recommendations from federal, state, and local officials. We are taking every precaution to help our community remain safe and healthy while continuing programs and support services for our students with as little disruption as possible. Program Updates
For Summer 2021, Academic Programs returned to in-person instruction with the second summer Preparatory contingents. The first-summer contingents had their classes online. Admissions, Post-Placement Counseling, Leadership Development Opportunities, and Undergraduate Affairs activities continued remotely, with a few exceptions.
Fall 2021 Preparatory classes are scheduled to be in person at The Trinity School starting September 18th. The Trinity School requires that all individuals age 12 and above be vaccinated against COVID-19 to enter the Trinity buildings. Since our Fall Preparatory classes will be in person, all Prep staff who work at Trinity will need to be vaccinated.
Prep for Prep's buildings continue to operate at 25% physical capacity. Regular office hours for both 71st Street and 91st Street brownstones are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturdays at 91st Street from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Each person who enters Prep’s work locations must fill out Prep’s COVID-19 self-certification form before entering the building. Contract tracing protocols are in place, and masks are required to be worn in all common spaces. Unfortunately, with very few exceptions, outside guests will not be allowed into the building. Thank you for your understanding. Starting in November 2021, Prep for Prep will introduce a hybrid office model.
