Welcome New Board and Associates Council Members
Prep for Prep is delighted to welcome Christopher James (IX) to the Board of Trustees and David Beller, Tom Keefe, Andrew Li, Sheena Melwani, Todd Swidler, and Miguel Vargas (P9 XVIII) to the Associates Council.
The Board of Trustees and Associates Council are passionate about helping Prep achieve its mission through fundraising, volunteering, generating internships, and creating leadership opportunities. We are grateful for their dedication and their generous commitment of time and resources.

Christopher James
(IX/Riverdale '93, Duke '97) JD, Harvard '02
Christopher is a Senior Managing Director at Blackstone Group and its COO of Tactical Opportunities. He is the ninth Prep alum serving on the Board this year, all-time high and a great source of pride for the organization. He and his wife are proud parents of a newborn daughter.

David is a Counsel in the Paul Weiss Corporate Department and a member of the firm’s Private Equity Group and the Mergers & Acquisitions Group. He is a graduate of Trinity School, Yale, and Cardozo Law School.

Tom Keefe
Tom is a Director at Oxeon Partners, where he leads human capital efforts, internal operations, and business development initiatives. A New Jersey native, Tom is a graduate of George Washington University.

Andrew Li
Andrew is an Associate at H.I.G. Capital. He attended Andover where several PREP 9 students were fellow classmates, and later graduated from Dartmouth.

Sheena Melwani
Sheena is an independent public relations consultant specializing in fashion marketing and retail branding. A graduate of Cornell University and the Parsons School of Design, Sheena learned about Prep through attending last year’s Lilac Ball with Associates Council Co-Chair Erin Dillard.

Todd Swidler
Todd is the Global Head of Live Video at Twitter. He and his wife are the proud parents of a daughter who attends Trinity School. Prior to joining the Associates Council, Todd volunteered to conduct mock interviews with Prep students preparing for summer internships. He is a graduate of McGill University and NYU Stern.

Miguel Vargas
(P9 XVIII/Choate '09, Princeton '13)
Miguel is a Research Analyst at Point72 Asset Management. Prior to embarking on a career in finance, he completed several legal internships through Prep’s Professional Advancement program. Miguel is the thirteenth alum serving on the Associates Council this year; one-quarter of the Council’s members are Prep alumni.
