About the Position
DoorDash is growing fast and we’re looking for a Manager of Internal Communications to join our People Team!
DoorDash seeks a Manager of Internal Communication to develop, implement, and execute DoorDash’s internal communication strategy and manage the delivery of company information to employees. In this role, you’ll partner closely with the People Team to engage, inform, and inspire employees and ensure that they feel connected to DoorDash’s mission, vision and values.
This role reports to the VP of Global Culture, Belonging, and People Growth and you will be a member of the team that is “Delivering Good” with a relentless pursuit of diversity, inclusion, and equity.
This position will be based out of San Francisco.

Have experience bringing a company’s voice to life in compelling and creative ways
Are a persuasive storyteller and excellent communicator. You have a knack for authentically using emotion and logic to communicate a persuasive vision and connect with people
Are an amazing listener, values different perspectives, and take feedback and turn it into action
Have experience developing comprehensive communication plans (including executive communications) that articulate clear objectives, key messages, timelines, and success metrics
Will evaluate the impact and success of existing communication channels and identify/manage new channels (e.g. Intranet/WIki, All Hands Meetings, Slack, weekly emails, etc.)
Will assess, recommend, and lead new ways to connect remote employees and smaller office to our headquarters
4 - 7 years of relevant work experience in communication (internal or external); high-growth tech experience a bonus, not a must
