Celebrating the College Choices of the High School Class of 2021
Congratulations to Prep for Prep's high school seniors! They will continue their personal and academic pursuits at colleges around the country this fall.
Prep for Prep students and staff celebrated #PrepSigningDay earlier this month, where students shared their college choices with their peers and Prep staff. Each announcement was met with enthusiastic applause and encouragement. Among our students’ choices are leading liberal arts colleges, research and business universities, women’s colleges, HBCUs, and arts schools. Top choices for this year’s class include Cornell (selected by 10 students); Amherst (6); Brown, Wesleyan, and Yale (5 each); and Boston University, Claremont McKenna, Gettysburg, and University of Chicago (4 each).
We are immensely proud of all that our students have accomplished, especially during and in spite of a pandemic that has shifted expectations for senior year. We know Prep and PREP 9 students will approach future challenges with the same dedication, thoughtfulness, and strength that started their journeys here.
