General Information Sessions

Welcome! The Admissions Team is excited for you to learn more about Prep and PREP 9. There are no Information Sessions scheduled at this time. We encourage you to contact an admissions officer.

Open Houses

In addition to general information sessions, we invite applicants and their families to attend a series of in-person gatherings to learn more about the Prep Journey. These Open House events feature a short presentation followed by Q & A. Space is limited. Register at the links below.

  • A Word From the Wise

    Tuesday, November 15, 2022
    6:30 pm to 7:30 pm

    Parents of Prep for Prep and PREP 9 students will share candid insights about their child’s experience in the program, the school placement process, and where their child is today. Prep’s Director of Post-Placement Counseling will discuss how she and her team of counselors work with students and the new initiatives they’ve developed to provide more support for families throughout their independent school experience.

    6:30 pm to 8:00 pm

    Prep for Prep and PREP 9 alumni will discuss what it’s like to be a boy of color in Preparatory Component and independent school and how Prep has supported them on their journey.

  • Wellness at Prep

    Thursday, January 26, 2023
    6:30 pm to 8:00 pm

    Prep for Prep's Academic Programs staff and student support team will describe the role of the Preparatory Component advisory program, classes such as Invictus and PIMAS, and student counseling in supporting students on their Prep Journey. Our Director of Mental Wellness will explain how Prep's newly developed wellness team fosters students' social-emotional development.

    Prep for Prep and PREP 9 high school and undergraduate students will share how Prep has helped them develop into leaders who are having a transformative impact at their schools. Representatives from our Leadership Development Opportunities team will describe the various leadership and professional development programs available to Prep students.
