Open House Events & In-Person Information Sessions

In addition to mandatory virtual general information sessions, we invite you to a series of special gatherings where you can learn more about different parts of the Prep Journey. These Open House Events and In-Person Information Sessions include a short presentation and Q & A. Applying students and families are welcome!

This in-person information session will take place at Horace Mann, one of our Bronx partner schools. It will be a great opportunity for families to learn about the Prep and PREP 9 experience from the perspective of some of our Bronx students, parents, and alumni.

Prep for Prep's Academic Programs staff and student support team will describe the role of the Preparatory Component advisory program, classes such as Invictus and PIMAS, and student counseling in supporting students on their Prep Journey.

Prep for Prep's Post Placement Counseling staff and student support team will describe the role of the counselors, talk more about their visits to schools to check in on students and meet with school Administrators. In addition, our Director of Mental Wellness will explain how Prep's newly developed wellness team fosters students' social-emotional development.
