Two Prep Alums Named Partners at Prestigious Law Firms

Two Prep alums became partners at prestigious international law firms this year.
Yahonnes Cleary (P9 V/Choate '96, Columbia '00) MS, Oxford '02; JD, Yale '09 was recently named a Partner at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, where he specializes in complex commercial litigation, regulatory matters, and internal investigations. He also maintains an active pro bono practice related to issues such as affirmative action, policing, and resentencing. 

Sue Meng (XV/Brearley '99, Harvard '03) MA, Oxford '06; JD, Yale '09 was named a Partner at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP this summer, where she is a member of its Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity Groups. She also serves as the firm’s Corporate Trustee on Prep for Prep’s Board and is the first Prep alum to sit on its Executive Committee. 

They join five other Prep alums who are Partners at major law firms across the country.
  • BakerHostetler LLP - Lisa Hall Collins (XIII/VCS '93, Nightingale '97, Georgetown '01) JD, Georgetown '04 is a member of the intellectual property and litigation groups.
  • Bryan Cave LLP - Craig Jeffrey (IV/Dalton '88, Baruch '97) JD, Univ. of Iowa '00 concentrates on real estate finance.
  • Bryant Rabbino LLP: Joshua Bloodworth (P9 II/Exeter '93, Harvard '97) JD, Harvard '03 specializes in real estate and community development.
  • Cooley LLP - Pang Lee (IX/Allen-Stevenson '90, Exeter '93, MIT '97) JD, Penn '03 leads private investment funds in Asia, with a focus on venture capital.
  • Reed Smith LLP - John Scott, Jr. (VIII/Trinity '92, Columbia '97) JD, Fordham '01 specializes in complex financial services litigation and business disputes.
