Position Summary: Prep for Prep seeks Teaching Assistants for its in-person 7-week Summer Preparatory Program.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be required to assist Prep’s Humanities teachers during the Summer Session of the Preparatory Component (classes and other core programming will be in session Monday through Friday from June 29 to August 17, 2026).
Your responsibilities will include assisting the main classroom teacher with administrative tasks, such as preparing, grading, and correcting student work, and maintaining classroom attendance records. You will also provide instructional support by helping execute daily lesson plans, working closely with individual students, tutoring students, supporting the main classroom teacher during Office Hours sessions, and communicating classroom and student needs to appropriate personnel. You will assist with student supervision and classroom management, including supervising students during lunch and recreation and helping maintain a safe, structured, and productive classroom environment. Additionally, you will help support the program's general needs when needed and as communicated.
