Welcome New Trustees and Associates Council Members

Prep for Prep is delighted to welcome its newest Trustees and Associates Council members.
Prep for Prep is extremely fortunate to have a deeply loyal, generous, and involved Board of Trustees and Associates Council. These individuals are passionate about helping us achieve our mission through fundraising, volunteering, generating internships, and creating leadership opportunities. We are grateful for their dedication and their generous commitment of time and resources.

Board of Trustees

Jeremy W. Gelber, M.D.
Jeremy is a Partner at Pamplona Capital where he heads healthcare and medical technology investments. He is an Allen-Stevenson parent and serves on the board of NewYork-Presbyterian Children’s Hospital.

Natalie Swaby Hutchinson
(XIV/Chapin '98, Penn '02)
Natalie is Prep’s first-ever alum Individual Trustee and the recipient of the 2017 Alumni Prize Award. While serving on Prep’s Associates Council, Natalie pioneered the Alumni Generous Donors Reception and supported other networking events to engage alumni and friends of Prep. She has two daughters enrolled in Chapin.

Leslie-Bernard Joseph
(P9 XI/Deerfield '02, Princeton '06) MA, Pace '08; JD, Stanford '15
Leslie was recently re-elected as the President of Prep’s Alumni Association Council and returns to serve as an Alumni Trustee on the Prep Board. He is a Senior Manager at Harlem Children’s Zone.

Christopher Ortega
Christopher is a Partner at TPG Capital where he leads the firm’s energy and natural resources group. He and his wife are the happy parents of a newborn baby girl.

Michael West
As Managing Director of Global Ratings & Research at Moody’s, Michael serves as its Corporate Trustee on Prep’s Board. The company has sponsored the journeys of 31 Moody’s Foundation/Prep for Prep Scholars to date.

Associates Council

Roman Chiporukha
Roman is the Founder & CFO of Roman & Erica, Inc., a luxury travel company. He is sponsoring the Dare to Dream travel abroad essay contest where winning Prep for Prep high school students and their parents will go on a trip of their choosing.

John Morley
John is a Vice President at The Cranemere Group Limited. He previously served on the junior board of CASA NYC, an organization that advocates on behalf of children and youth in New York's foster care system.

Leigh Nisonson
Leigh works in the financial industry as a capital raiser. She attended Brearley and was close friends and teammates with several Prep for Prep students. Leigh also volunteers as a mentor with iMentor.

Michele Post
Michele is the proud mother of three children at Brearley, Browning, and Grace Church. A few years ago, she learned about Prep and nominated a student for PREP 9, who completed our program and is now thriving at boarding school.

Kelly Salazar
(XXIV/Brearley '08, Harvard '12)
As a Program Analyst at Robertson Foundation, Kelly works on the education and medical research portfolios. She serves on Brearley’s Alumnae Board and previously co-chaired its Miller Society, an association for the school’s black and Latina alumnae.

Christy Searl
Christy is a Director of Burford Capital’s underwriting and investment arm in New York. She is the proud parent of a child at St. Luke’s School, where she first learned of Prep for Prep.

Graig Springer
Graig is a Manager at OppenheimerFunds. He learned about Prep while he was attending Browning, where he now continues to meet new Prep students while serving as a member of Browning’s Alumni Council.

Lauren Stewart
Lauren works in the Diversity & Community Building department at St. Luke's School. Lauren has previously served on boards supporting scholarship funds for academic nonprofit organizations in Chicago, Atlanta, and Washington D.C.
