Trinity School: Assistant Director of Admissions, Grades K-4 (NY, NY)


Trinity School, a co-educational, K-12 institution located on the Upper West of Manhattan, seeks an Assistant Director of Admissions, Grades K-4 starting July 1, 2024. This individual will assist and support the Director’s work in all aspects of the admissions process for grades K-4.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Director of Admissions, K-4 in the admissions process for grades K-4.
  • Conduct Kindergarten parent interviews.
  • Assist with child testing and school tours as needed.
  • Conduct child observations at preschools when necessary.
  • Assist with in-house play sessions (weekends).
  • Send applicant surveys, collect and analyze data, and prepare reports.
  • Serve as a member of the Admissions Committee.
  • Recruit and train parent volunteers for seasonal support at events.
  • Support volunteer parent tour guides; assist the Director and parent coordinator with the program.
  • Organize and manage all admissions events, including welcome events in the spring.
  • Represent Trinity at school fairs and other events, both live and virtual (occasionally on weekends).
  • Attend and support all admissions functions and meetings (day, evening, weekend).
  • Act as point of contact with outside vendors, including ERB and Finalsite.
  • Review and update the Lower School admissions information on the Trinity website.
  • Assist with general clerical and other duties, as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in education or a related field is required.
  • Previous experience in education or admissions is desired.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Discreet, professional, enthusiastic, and friendly demeanor.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Flexibility and willingness to help in all areas.
  • Proficiency in technology and software applications, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to the School’s mission.

Salary range: $100,000 - $120,000 (salary based upon experience)
