Pace Loan Group: Analyst (NY, NY)

Salary Range: $70,000K - $85,000K 

About the Position

Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) financing is a tool used by property owners and developers to finance energy efficiency, renewable energy, and resiliency measures in their deals. PACE Loan Group (PLG) is a leading national direct C-PACE lender.

PLG is adding an Analyst to our team in our New York City office. With an industry-leading balance sheet, PLG is focused on originating and servicing C-PACE loans nationwide. You will learn from seasoned real estate finance veterans, and you will learn about a quickly growing type of real estate finance. People who have gone through the PLG Analyst program have many options for growth within PLG, either as underwriters, originators, or loan servicers/asset managers.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Assistance with deal teams to qualify potential C-PACE projects
  • Providing detailed financial analysis of potential C-PACE projects to fund, including analysis and summary of property value, and C-PACE-eligible upgrades
  • Reviewing various states’ C-PACE program reports to assist with C-PACE loan underwriting and compliance
  • Drafting deal memos for closed transactions, which includes writing summary descriptions of the transaction and inputting factual loan metrics
  • Reviewing, keeping organized, and completing due diligence review for multiple deals simultaneously to bring projects from inception to close
  • Working with asset management team to verify loan status with local governments
  • Other tasks as needed

  • Highly proficient at Excel
  • Strong collaboration skills + ability to work independently
  • Problem-solving attitude (identifies issues, but also suggest solutions)
  • Desire for a fast-paced environment while delivering accurate, quality work product
