The Senior Coordinator of Operations, Leadership Programs will work closely with the Leadership Programs team to ensure that Relay Graduate School of Education (Relay) is providing the highest quality education and development to school and district leaders across the country. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Senior Coordinator of Operations is an essential member of the Leadership Programs team. S/he will be responsible for executing a wide range of tasks for Leadership ProgramDean’sOffice in addition to serving as the front lines for all external emails, reporting needs, and other administrative tasks. This individual is essential to the day-to-day operations of Relay that will ensure that our program is preparing excellent leaders to serve high-need schools across the country.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Execute key administrative tasks for the Regional Program Operations team including, but not limited to:
Data entry and maintenance, ensuring that we maintain accurate information and module enrollment on Relay’s online learning management system
Work strategically with instructional colleagues to post course materials and content to the online platform
Managing supply requests and inventory
Regularly prepare and disseminate various reports internally and externally
Manage communicationsto partners and students, including:
Serving as the frontline responder to all emails in the Leadership Programs inbox, re-directing to other staff when necessary
Execute key mail merges to the student body and manage follow-up
Assist with planning and executing logistics for eight weekend intersessions/conferences and two summer intensive sessions that will be hosted in Denver, Houston, New York, San Francisco or Philadelphia throughout the year.
Responsibilities include:
Creating registration surveys
Ordering supplies
Setting up conference space and supplies
Working with external vendors to ensure copies and course materials are accurately prepared
Help create and maintain a positive organizational environment by following through on promises and directives, including meeting deadlines and communicating progress to others
Ability to travel up to 20% time
Ability to work weekend and non-traditional hours when traveling to conferences
Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Qualifications
First and foremost, the Senior Coordinator of Operations, Leadership Programs must share the team’s sense of urgency about the need to improve student achievement through phenomenal leadership training. Additionally, candidates for the position must have the following:
BA/BS
1 – 3 years of prior work experience, ideally in operations
Evidence of strong organizational skills
Acute attention to detail and a focus on thoroughness and accuracy
An eagerness to help improve Relay’s program and operations in whatever ways possible
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
The ability to work efficiently, intensely, and within an entrepreneurial environment
A demonstrated passion for urban education and closing the opportunity gap
Authorized to work in the U.S.
