Major League Soccer’s Strategic Planning team is seeking a Manager, Fan Insights who will be focused on designing research studies, interpreting data, and translating it into actionable recommendations. The ideal candidate has a deep interest and curiosity in consumer behaviors and the analytical background to interpret and develop new insights that will be shared across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities
Execute custom research studies to uncover insights on current and future consumers of soccer
Perform analysis of data available through syndicated research platforms (Scarborough, Simmons, Nielsen, etc.)
Utilize techniques including Segmentation, Conjoint Analysis, etc.
Develop new methods and techniques to enhance our understanding of soccer consumers
Manage key market research vendor relationships to ensure high quality execution, effective reporting, and timely delivery of projects
Create and deliver insights presentations that will be shared across the organization

Qualifications:
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree
5-8+ years market research experience
Experience in both qualitative and quantitative research
Required Skills
Capable of building new presentations and/or modifying current templates
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally
