Yale is the Top Choice of Prep's College Freshman
In the most competitive college admissions environment on record, Prep’s 140 recent high school graduates prevailed. In September, they began to make their mark on America’s finest college campuses. Yale is the top college of choice for this year’s incoming freshman, with ten newly enrolled students.
Wesleyan is a close second (9 freshmen enrolled) followed by Amherst (8), Columbia (6), and Harvard (5). Ninety-two percent of Prep seniors enrolled in the most competitive colleges in the country. It is a particularly remarkable accomplishment given that the combined average admission rates at Ivy League universities (plus MIT and Stanford) fell from 19% to 10%.
