Fifth Prep Senior Wins Choate’s Top Prize
At this year’s Choate Rosemary Hall Commencement, Nuha Saho (P9 XXIII) was awarded the school’s top distinction, the Seal Prize, for outstanding contribution to the School. A Bronx resident, Saho served as Choate's Head Prefect, captain of the volleyball team, and a member of the debate team.
A Bronx resident, Saho served as Choate's Head Prefect, captain of the volleyball team, and a member of the debate team. Before enrolling at Harvard this fall, he will complete an internship in the Global Financial Crimes Compliance Unit at JP Morgan, which he earned through Prep’s Professional Advancement office. Reflecting on the honor, he said, “I wholeheartedly believe that Prep has been and will continue to be the driving force in all of my successes; it has given me the foundation to fully foster my intellectual and personal potential.”
Saho joins four other Prep alums who have received the prize:
Sheila Adams (P9 X/Choate '01, Harvard '05) JD, Columbia '11; an Associate at the law firm of Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP.
Marc Callender (P9 VIII/Choate '99, Yale '03) MD, Johns Hopkins '08; a pediatrician at the Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, Maryland.
Jamel Melville (P9 IX/Choate '00, Yale '04); an air traffic controller.
Lovey Roundtree Oliff (P9 VI/Choate '97, Bowdoin '01) MEd, Harvard '04; an ELL teacher in the Weston Massachusetts public schools and co-founder of a new event planning company, K&L Events.
