The Independent School Experience
After successfully completing Prep’s 14-month Preparatory Component, your child will earn a place at a leading New York City independent school (commonly known as private school). Prep for Prep will help your child transition to the new school environment and find opportunities to succeed. Extracurricular activities are limitless, including orchestra, step team, Model UN, environmental groups, community service, and trips abroad. -
An average class size of 13 allows lively discussions between teachers and students. -
Sports are a mainstay of independent schools and many have their own fields and stadiums. -
Performance opportunities include plays, musicals, dance, and more.
